Didier (Crisse) Chrispeels
was born on 26th of February
in Brussels.
He signed his first
professional contract at the
age of 19 with the Dupuis?s
editions and ?The Ocean?s Kings?.
In the meantime he created
illustrations for
advertisements, storyboards and
children?s books.
He also designed ?Les
aventures de Nahomi? for the
Lombard editions (a new
integral volume was
published in January 2009).
He eventually had the major
turning point in his career by
entering into heroic fantasy and
creating ?L?Ep?e de Cristal?
which turned out to be a
5-volume series (100,000 copies
per book). Ever since, comic
book has filled most of his
time and he has created
characters such as: Cosmos
Milady, Lorette and Harpye,
Perdita Queen, Kookaburra and
finally Atalante which
confirmed his talent and
overall success.
