“Painting to communicate”. Is
one of the major goals of her
artwork. Myriam Guenaïzia
draws inspiration from the
depths of her visual and
oversensitive memory:
“Reality is interesting only if it
can be adapted and moulded
as we want. The hand and the
heart are the main tools. Her
stroke is fair and her colour
imposing, for 25 years, her
work has given us 'the
intensity of a generous

Myriam GUENAIZIA was born
in 1957 in Lorient. After a
diploma at the University of
Haute-Bretagne Rennes
graduating in Visual arts and
history of Art, she began her
career in Spain in 1982. She
exhibits in international private
